NASCAR can’t rig the weather. Which is a shame. Because if you didn’t read today’s race preview, they had a great opportunity before the rain came in.
Yes, another long delay for the lads. Should’ve built those cars with windshield wipers. In the end, the race—from what I can tell (nope, didn’t watch)—wasn’t all that exciting. Denny Hamlin got another win, which doesn’t change the landscape much. Joey Logano hampered Chase Elliott at one point, but not in an aggressive enough way to warrant anything exciting for a non-fan. Bubba Wallace turned in another solid performance, but nothing that’ll reach the Espy’s.
Another race in the books. We move on to Talladega.
