NASCAR Preview: Bristol

There’s a NASCAR race again today. It’s in Bristol, which is either in Tennessee or Virginia. Very close to the border. Forget which side the track’s on, but the state line runs right through the town of Bristol. Think the track’s in Bristol, but don’t want to get that wrong.

Bristol is an exciting track, and yes, I mean there are a lot of crashes there, which makes it risky to call it exciting because you don’t want to do that and then have someone get hurt. So hopefully no one gets hurt. It’s just a short, tight track, which means there isn’t any space to spread out, which means contact, which means chaos.

So, if you’re looking to watch some chaos that isn’t heartbreaking, while still following the primary chaos, which is immensely heartbreaking, this race is happening this afternoon. No major narratives going into the race. Chase Elliott winning closed the door on the most recent of those.
