NASCAR needs more mascots. Yes, I know that some tracks have mascots (confessional: I did not know that until I’d already started this post), but we need more of ‘em. And we need them to race. Like, a little mascot race, preferably in go karts that are a little too small for them.
Where to start? Invite Benny the Bull to come hang out with old friend Michael Jordan sometime this summer. Put him in a car. Ignore the overheating consequences. Let Benny drive around a bit. I mean, imagine this guy in a stock car:
