5 thoughts on “Milk Review: HEB Park Manor Whole Milk

  1. I put about a cup of this milk in my tea, kind of a tea latte, and within about 20 minutes my tongue started swelling, my heart was racing and I was short of breath. I haven’t had any issues with any other types of milk, ever. I did have the same thing happen a few months earlier with some HEB brand maple flavored yogurt. It’s possible I might have had some of their milk at that time also; not sure. It took a couple of days and some Benadryl but I got over it. I’m wondering what differences there are between this Park Manor milk and other types of milk that might cause such a thing to happen and if anyone else has had an experience like this. What is it about this milk that makes it so inexpensive?

  2. I would love to know too. I blindly bought HEB brand for a while, then noticed the cheaper HCF and had that for a while, then about 3 months ago I noticed the Manor brand and have been using since. I haven’t noticed any difference, tastes/works just as good.

    Would love to know.

  3. It has always been a great mystery to me why HEB sells 3 different gallon jugs of ordinary milk, at very different prices. $3.40 for HEB, $3.03 for their cheaper HCF brand, and then $2.48 for Park Manor. The nutrition data is almost exactly the same, so its not as if one brand lacks milt fat or anything. They all seem to taste the same
