Mai Tai Guy will be Mai Tai Guy

If you missed it, last night Kyle Schwarber hit a walk-off home run (no big deal, he’s been hitting home runs every day for about half a week now), and this is what happened to the ball:

Now, I’m all for kids getting baseballs at baseball games.

But at some point, you have to let nature be nature.

Similarly to how we don’t expect a bear to do anything other than be a bear, we shouldn’t expect Mai Tai Guy to do anything other than be Mai Tai Guy. And I think we all could have guessed that being Mai Tai Guy entails grabbing every home run ball in site with no qualms for societal norms.

Sorry, children, but let this be a lesson to you: Nature does not bow to the laws of man.
