Yes, Sims missed some free throws. Because, uh…he’s a big man? That’s what big men are supposed to do, you idiots. Something they’re not supposed to do is effectively guard one of the shiftiest dudes in the Big 12 on the perimeter, and Sims did a whole lot of that too.

It hurts in the Big 12 title chase, but Texas was going to need to beat Baylor anyway. There’s no secret about that. Just want to chomp up these next few weeks of opposition and enter February with at least a share of the lead. That’s the goal now, and it’s a reasonable one.
