License Plates — The People Speak: Anger with the Committee

With voicing your License Plate opinions through your votes not an option until next year, you can let the world hear your thoughts in words by emailing us at allthingsnit@gmail.com. Below is our second reader submission, a general airing of grievances (for the record, we will have a NET-like rating system that uses adjusted margin of victory from this tournament to reseed the plates for next year’s bracket—but we had not announced that prior to receiving the submission below).

Can we have some sort of rating system like NET? Of course the Dakotas were seeded high and got favorable matchups like Duke and UNC always starting in Greensboro.

THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY! WHERE IS THE TRANSPARENCY?!?!!

New Mexico had a dominant lead-up and they were put in a 4-plate region of death. This is akin to placing the 2013-2014 35-0 Wichita State team into a matchup with a recently gelling 8 seeded Kentucky team.

You’d think the committee that has experience seeding the actual greatest tournament in the world would be able to handle this, but no. Special treatment to the pretty landscape pictures of the Dakotas, instead.
