It is done.
The License Plate Bracket is finished, and we have a champion. To the surprise of few, it’s Wyoming.
1. Wyoming defeats 2. North Dakota, 25-17

We’ll be reaching out to the state of Wyoming to see if we’re legally allowed to sell 2020 License Plate National Champions merchandise. If we can, we’ll have more information to you on that in the coming days. If we can’t, you will hear nothing from us on that matter (unless their response is entertaining—might use it for #content).
Be on the lookout for next year’s bracket, which we’ll announce soon (though the voting will not take place until hopefully Summer 2021, and we’ll change the seedings again before then if any states change their primary plates). In the more immediate term, we’ll have a new, unrelated-to-license-plates bracket up soon for your voting pleasure: The Tournament of the Worst.
