Kyle Larson Is One Million Dollars Richer

Well, we were wrong about how that partial inversion worked. But honestly, at this point, that doesn’t change anything for you guys.

Kyle Larson won the All-Star Race last night. Kyle Larson wins everything now. Life, death, another Fast and the Furious movie, Kyle Larson winning Cup Series races.

It wasn’t as exciting as one would like—hard to pass, not a lot of chaos—but there were a few good moments. James Davison’s crew chief (I believe that’s who’s talking at the end) summing up Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was great:

and it was neat when Matt DiBenedetto got voted in out of the Open Race by the fans (the others who advanced were Ross Chastain, Tyler Reddick, and Aric Almirola, who had to be concerned when he saw no one in front of him for a change).

Overall, fine All-Star Race. On to Nashville, which I don’t know much about, before the Pocono doubleheader, after which only seven races will remain before the playoffs.

Summer’s heating up.
