With last night’s strikeout of Robbie Grossman, Joe Kelly is now through eight scoreless innings on the season, and is rapidly approaching a complete-game shutout, which would be the first of his career. He’s struck out seven, so he’ll need to strike out the side in the ninth to match his career-high for K’s in a start, but that’s not impossible.
