Joe Kelly hasn’t appeared since tweaking his hamstring on Sunday gritting out a crucial save for his team in the middle of a pennant race. This isn’t that surprising. There’s only been two games. But, for what it’s worth, Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Kelly was unavailable that night and that he’d hopefully be available the next night, and then the Dodgers, inspired by their hero’s willingness to throw 100-mph fastballs through the pain, kicked a little butt last night and there wasn’t any reason to use Kelly anyway.
He still isn’t on the IL as of the time this is written, so that’s good at least.
