UC-Riverside isn’t getting rid of sports.
There will be budget cuts, and the school presumably isn’t out of the woods, but at least for now, the hope of a second Joe Kelly arising one day remains alive. Joe Kelly’s alma mater, which was thinking about getting rid of sports, is not getting rid of sports. They play on. And we all hug our fellow Joe Kelly fans a little tighter.
