I’m going to level with you guys. I haven’t been paying attention to the MLB’s roster situation. My doubt of Rob Manfred’s competence compels me to believe this season isn’t going to work out, and I’m going to wait at least a few more days before starting to change that approach.
But.
I understand there are now sixty players on each roster. That’s a lot of players, if you ask me (and I heard you—you did ask me). Yes, it’s similar to spring training, but it’s also different, because I’m assuming there’s going to be fewer fans and media present?
In other words, get ready for Joe Kelly to drop some creative pranks.
If you are a Los Angeles Dodger and you read this blog and you have not yet met your soon-to-be-veteran-overlord Joe Kelly, well, please be nice to him so you can introduce us sometime, but also be very careful because that is a man who is capable of causing trouble.
Just ask Peter Bourjos.
