Our guy loaded the bases last night but got out of it, and his ERA’s now down to 3.79, right around his FIP and xERA. He seems to be inching his way deeper and deeper into Dave Roberts’s trust, and he was hitting 99 mph last night. Also had a big strikeout to end the frame, and while he gave up some contact it was all low-quality stuff. Unhittable? No. Unhithardable? Yes.
