Joe Kelly will not be returning tonight, as we hoped, nor has he even begun serving his suspension, confirming our fears.

It doesn’t appear Kelly will be returning soon.
“For me, he’s still a ways away. He’s been playing catch, I don’t think he’s been on a mound yet,” (Dave) Roberts said. “I know he’s going through his progressions. Not here with us on the road trip, so I assume he’s getting better each day but there’s really no ETA.”
Uh, Dave.
We need an ETA, pal.
Also, can’t you guys just active him from the IL, have him serve his suspension, and then go, “Whoops, shoulder’s still inflamed!” and knock five games off our wait?
In the meantime, we’ll keep watching and hoping, but it doesn’t sound like we’ll be seeing our hero for at least another week and a half or so.
