Joe Kelly closed out a Dodgers victory last night.

With the game on the line last night, up six in the ninth inning, the Dodgers turned to Joe Kelly.

Our hero did not disappoint.

After walking Nick Senzel on four very fast fastballs, Kelly induced a double-play-ball from one of the best hitters of all time, Joey Votto, before making Eugenio Suarez whiff on a screaming 99 mph fastball and two dazzling knuckle curves.

Was it the best outing of the year for Kelly?

Not by a long shot.

Was it scoreless, therefore improving his ERA?

Yes.

Did he step up when his team needed him, closing out the victory?

You bet your Joe Kelly Throws Hard t-shirt (coming soon, hopefully) he did.
