Four sketches remain. One from each half of each season. With this step, we are somewhere around 24 hours away from their successors, the third season of I Think You Should Leave.
Let’s get to the important stuff.
Full quarterfinal results are available here. Remaining sketches are:
- Gift Receipt/Wiping: In which Tim Robinson’s character gives his friend a gift, demands to be allowed to eat the gift receipt to prove his friend likes the gift, and then experiences a debilitating stomach ache, ultimately exposing his friend for using too small a slice of toilet paper.
- Hot Dog Car: In which a hot dog-shaped car crashes through the wall of a Brooks Brothers, leading Tim Robinson’s character—wearing a hot dog costume—to try to lead the search for the culprit, whom he suggests they forgive, spank, and allow to leave with a bunch of suits.
- People Can Change (Sloppy Steaks): In which Tim Robinson’s character notices his friend’s baby cries when he holds the baby because Tim Robinson’s character used to be a piece of shit, back when he drove a white Ferrari, lived in a glass house, and used to terrorize a local steakhouse with his Dangerous Nights Crew, pouring water on their steaks to create “sloppy steaks,” which he says are delicious.
- Brian’s Hat: In which Tim Robinson’s character’s colleagues are on trial for insider trading, but the instant messages read aloud as evidence mostly consist of them making fun of his safari-flapped fedora, which he is still wearing in the audience at court.
