I’m on the record about not really following the NBA (I try, guys, I really try sometimes), but I’m also on the record as spending too much time on Twitter, so here we are. Let’s talk James Hardon.
Today, the Philadelphia 76ers traded Ben Simmons and Seth Curry and I don’t know some draft pick or some other dude to the Brooklyn Nets for the greatest basketball player to ever come out of Arizona State (I’m not kidding, dude took ASU on its deepest NIT run ever his freshman year), and Twitter said, “WE HATE YOU JAMES HARDEN.” In one voice. Unison. Kind of creepy, honestly.
Evidently people don’t like James Harden. And since the only thing I really know about James Harden (besides that he can score, that he has a big beard, that he pretended to be fat one time so the Rockets would trade him, and all the Arizona State stuff) is that he goes to a lot of strip clubs. The famous reddit analysis, and all that.
Anyway, does no one see the tie here? If everyone hates James Harden, no wonder he spends all his time patronizing businesses designed for sad people. Dude’s always sad! You would be too if everyone hated you and also you came up just short of the 2008 Final Four.
