Max Verstappen is on the pole, Lewis Hamilton—who’s won six of the last seven years here—is starting P2, Valtteri Bottas—Hamilton’s teammate at Mercedes—is starting P3, and Sergio Pérez—Verstappen’s teammate at Red Bull—will start from the pits due to a disastrous qualifying session making Red Bull say, “Well, might as well just change up the car.” Lando Norris, a Briton himself, starts P5.
