Over the last few months, we’ve occasionally spoken about the European NIT, which is, of course, the Europa League. What you may not know is that India has an NIT too. A lot of them, actually.
According to Wikipedia, “the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are autonomous public technical and research universities located in India…Each NIT is autonomous, linked to the others through a common council (NIT Council)…”
