I have never watched Star Wars, but I’m clear about one thing: The green dude—Yoda—is short. He’s also supposedly very smart. Can levitate, right?
Well, if Yoda’s smart enough to fly, why didn’t he just make himself taller?
Either I am mistaken about space rules for roller coasters, or Yoda handcuffed his ability to have fun by focusing his intellect on issues other than making himself taller. Yes, the levitation thing would help for pickup basketball and reaching the top shelf, but for the log ride at Six Flags? Sorry, small friend. You’re watching that from the sidelines, and you will not be in the overpriced photo of your row getting splashed with water on the descent.
This isn’t the only thing that makes me think Star Wars isn’t a true story. Yoda also evidently puts his words in a weird order. I do that too sometimes, but not intentionally. It happens most when I’m really tired. Is Yoda getting enough sleep? Maybe he’d be smarter (smart enough to make himself taller?) if he got enough sleep. Our kids (I know Yoda isn’t a child but he’s small like one so I’m lumping him in) need sleep to learn and grow. In fact, part of why Yoda’s so short is probably because he didn’t get enough sleep. A true wise little icon would’ve gotten enough sleep to at least be a wise medium-sized icon.
I’m no Yoda-hater. Just a Yoda-doubter.
