Identifying the Most NIT Game in College Football’s Week 6

It’s that time. Let’s see here…

The ACC’s playing, which is always a strong bet. Syracuse is too bad…everyone is too bad…ok maybe Virginia Tech isn’t too bad? Let’s scribble down ND @ VT on the list.

Now, the Big 12. Oklahoma/Texas would be funny but inaccurate (and we’ve already gotten into it on accuracy once this week). The others aren’t that compelling.

Big Ten? Too spread out at the moment. Rutgers isn’t good enough.

Pac-12: I kind of like Stanford/Arizona State but I think that’s setting the bar too low.

Oh here we go.

SEC.

SEC West!

Arkansas @ Mississippi.

We actually might get one of these guys in a bowl with a “College Football NIT” case. Gator Bowl? Possible. Citrus Bowl? Possible. There are stakes, but not really stakes anyone cares about nationally. It’s a great game—arguably the best of the week. Certainly the most fun. Lane Kiffin is involved.

Congratulations, Oxford. You’re hosting college football’s NIT Game of the Week. Remind me to send the Sbarro. I will forget to send the Sbarro if you do not remind me to send the Sbarro.
