The last two years, when visiting New York for the NIT Final Four, I have stayed with a dog named Jax.
This guy:
He’s a French Bulldog. Good dude. Got a sense of humor. Didn’t poop indoors as much in 2019 as he did in 2018. Did pee on my bed in 2019.
Unbeknownst to me, though, he might be related to Max Muncy.
Same name.
Same breed.
I haven’t seen the Jax I know in a few months, so while this one looks a little skinnier, that doesn’t mean anything.
The NIT Final Four coincides roughly with Opening Day, meaning if Max Muncy and Jax live together, the human out of that pair wouldn’t be around when I’m around. It’s possible the air mattress I sleep on is Max Muncy’s offseason bed.
But it’s also possible that noted mogul Jax just has places on both coasts, and just happens to be in the Big Apple around NIT Time because he’s got good taste in tournaments.
Either way, it seems I’m closer to Max Muncy than I previously realized. Which also means I’m closer to Joe Kelly.
Big day for the brand.
