Happy Milk Days!

This is a shameful confession, but we believe in honesty here, and it’s the honest truth:

I’ve never been to Milk Days.

Milk Days starts tomorrow in Harvard, Illinois, the last town on the train line as you head from Chicago to Wisconsin by way of Crystal Lake. Harvard is know for three things in McHenry County, and one of them is Milk Days, and I am from McHenry County and I love milk and I have never been to Milk Days. All I really know about it is that 1) it’s a festival and 2) there are bed races involved. Or at least there used to be. I happened to go to the dentist right before Milk Days one year and the hygienist was about to race.

Every year around this time, we remember Milk Days, and every year, we say to ourselves: We should really go to Milk Days next year. This is where we need your help. Clearly, we cannot remember to go to Milk Days on our own. So, come—January, maybe?—we would appreciate it if you would reach out and remind us Milk Days are on their way. We need to know.
