Every once in a while, the Universe throws us a bone, dropping a piece of news on us so ambiguous we’re compelled to lay down our arms, beating our internet swords into internet plowshares. Often, this is bad news, but even then, it’s a welcome respite.
But sometimes, that news is good news, as it was yesterday afternoon:

Yes, people who know things tell me he’s still a ways from getting drafted, but hey—this is better than him not being on the list, right? It’s only a step, but it’s better that the step be taken than the alternative.
