Fargo Friday: Reviewing the New Digs

This is Fargo.

Fargo has something to say.

mmmmheeeeEEELLLOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

*jumpety jumpety jumpety jumpety SNIFF sit lick*

i was wondering when you would stop by.

as you all know, i have moved. I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED. i went to daycare, i came home, POOF! different home. it is good so far, though. there is an outdoor cat in the neighborhood i have been dying to acquaint myself with.

the most important thing about this place, as far as what you need to know goes, is that the bedroom has carpet. this is a big deal if you are a dog who likes to play. we pups are not known for having excellent traction on smooth surfaces like hardwood or vinyl floors. we pups are also known for playing ‘tug of war’ and ‘chase’ and ‘pounce on the orange ball from a few feet away.’ we pups are thusly at a disadvantage now and then in our favorite games. because of the lack of traction. UNLESS THERE IS CARPET. and there is carpet here. i am no longer at a competitive disadvantage. the opposition is sunk.

carpet is also nice because it gives us pups another soft place to conduct our snoozles. but wait! i must tell you about the stairs.

so a weird thing about this home is that it is mostly upstairs? and not like the old home, where there was an elevator and a hallway and THEN you were at the home. in this home, you come inside, you are home, and then you have to go up the stairs to be in most of the home? this is confusing.

it is also exhausting, because as the house’s supervisor, i am in charge of accompanying humans on all trips up and down these stairs. and since i can’t walk up the stairs and can instead only run, and since these humans are busy little creatures, always carrying things up the stairs and garbage down the stairs, this means i am running up the stairs something like twenty times a day. it is a WORKOUT. my legs are TIRED. and with walks particularly busy right now for me, with new things all over the place to sniff, i am a tired pooch. and so i will leave you with this:

i hope the new couch comes soon.

Fargo is a dog. She is our dog.
