It’s Sunday, and at least this week, that means we’ve got another NASCAR race. Let’s hit the FAQ’s:
Should we watch this, or the NIT-impacting action?
Good question. NIT stuff. But check back here for a race recap sometime in the next few days.
What race is this?
The FanShield 500.
What’s FanShield?
Nobody knows.
Where’s it at?
Phoenix.
Anything cool about that track?
No. It’s a trioval, I think, and I think that makes it less cool. Especially since it’s pretty short. They’re gonna have to do 500 laps, I’m pretty sure (update: I was very wrong about this. They’re measuring it in kilometers. 312 laps, 312 miles, 500 kilometers. This isn’t Formula One, people).
Wow. So only a mile long?
Good math.
When is it happening?
2:30 PM Central is what The Internet™ says, but there’s no way to know for sure.
Cool. See you later!
Bye.
