If we ever get around to finishing our NASCAR and Formula 1 models (maybe if somebody wasn’t taking all our attention launching sophisticated attacks on our summer brackets), we figure there’ll be some applicability of the methodology to IndyCar, and that we should therefore make an IndyCar model too. Just in case. That way we have it. At the very least, we’d be pretty knowledgeable about the Indy 500, which would feel like an honor.
So, that’s why we’re adding IndyCar to the docket as the open wheel series prepares to begin its season this weekend.
Here’s the schedule, day by day:
Today (Friday)
Nothing, actually. Well, some qualifying and practice in certain series, probably, but we’re not at that level yet (and we may never be at that level). Sorry. Only so much time and whatnot.
Tomorrow (Saturday)
Alright, here we go.
Actually it’s just the trucks. Xfinity series is off. Which explains in part why there isn’t a race tonight.

All the things.

We’ll have full previews up for each Sunday race come Sunday morning (full by our standards, and yeah, the F1 race might necessitate changing to Saturday night, but we’ll see), but that’s the general schedule. I don’t know of any good storylines with the trucks but that doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
