Did the Fresh Prince Teach Anyone Else About the Crimean War?

All it took was the word, “canon.” Not even “cannon.” I read “canon” the other day and my head flashed back to Geoffrey, the butler in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, reciting The Charge of the Light Brigade.

I consider myself something of an expert on the Crimean War, in terms relative to this day and age. I know it happened. I could pick Crimea out on a map. I know the Light Brigade was involved in a charge. I believe that charge ended poorly. I only know this because of Geoffrey. Not all of that information was even in the episode, but it stuck to the brain when it flew past because Geoffrey laid the adhesive. And now, realizing this, I wonder whether others also know about the Crimean War because of Geoffrey. So please, let me know if you do.
