It’s very possible we could.
Other notes:
- Florida beat Mississippi. Probably not enough on its own to knock either out of the bracketology, but neither should be feeling great.
- Oklahoma State beat Kansas, and we’re beginning to think it’s personal.
- Alabama shellacked Kentucky, and I mean, we literally said “they probably don’t want to get blown out” about Kentucky yesterday. Guess we need to be more explicit.
- Miami’s brief hopes crashed on a Boston-College-blowout-sized rock.
- Providence lost again, and this time it was actually kind of bad. Which is good. For them. Seeing us.
- Oklahoma dominated TCU, to the extent that I am not sure we’re going to be seeing either of them in our next projected field.
- Ball State beat Bowling Green, giving Toledo some space in the MAC. We’ve lost a lot of money betting against Bowling Green, so there are mixed emotions here, because we hate them from that, but we didn’t bet against them last night (we also didn’t bet on them to win, though—that would go against our morals).
- UC-Riverside did not take down Andy Enfield. But they did take him to overtime!
- Leonard Hamilton is a delight, and we would be delighted if he were to join us this spring. Big chance for the Seminoles to get a bad loss, with NC State coming to Tallahassee.
- Northwestern’s in action in Columbus, and man, does that make us nervous.
- Tulsa plays Wichita State in AAC bubble action.
