Could Soldier Field Get a Reverse Renovation??

There’s evidently a cool mini-documentary about the Wrigley Field renovations. My folks have both told me to watch it, but rebellious child that I am, I have yet to find the time.

Anyway, with the Bears playing the Arlington Park card, feeling grateful the Cubs are still at Wrigley.

ON THAT TOPIC:

If the Bears leave Soldier Field, will the spaceship leave with them?

Think of it as a liberation. Finally, the occupying force would leave the lakefront, the Museum Campus free and itself once more. And while a reverse renovation would cost money from a city that has negative money, think of what they could use the stadium for with the alien invasion out of the way:

Yeah, I can’t think of anything either. Public League games? Those would not bring in money, but would sure be fun for the kids! Concerts? Yeah, I guess they could do concerts. Move the White Sox there and make it a Polo Grounds situation? That’s probably the best option. The city of Chicago should coerce the White Sox to move to Soldier Field.

Anyway, yeah, glad the Cubs still have Wrigley. Lot of old ballparks got the boot. Wrigley has yet to be one of them.
