Conference realignment talk is everywhere in college sports media, and rightfully so, because it figures to have a minor impact on the NIT. So, just as a heads up, a warning that we’re probably going to milk this for posts for at least another week or two, at least. Automatic bid implications, what it means for the SEC and the Big 12, what it could mean for other conferences, whether adding Iowa State could make NIT bids possible for the Big Ten again, whether adding Kansas could make NIT bids even more impossible for the Big Ten, what flavor ice creams I think Tim Miles might order if we went to get ice cream together, what flavor ice creams I think Tim Miles might order if we went to get ice cream together but it was some weird California healthy ice cream place with suspiciously comfortable air conditioning, etc. Those are the tip of the iceberg (not icecreamberg no this is about the NIT not ice cream). Look out, guys. Realignment NIT posts aren’t stopping anytime soon.
what is this, an NIT blog?
