If Clint Hurdle hadn’t introduced so much mayhem to the NL Central by being a butthead, Amir Garrett would never have gained the confidence necessary to turn his feud with Javier Báez into what it is.
Is Amir Garrett kind of fun? Yeah. He can be really fun sometimes. Is it also fun that Javy Báez takes Garrett’s actions as a crime against humanity? Yeah. Especially when Báez is defending his captain like he was last night.
Respect to Báez, no hate to Garrett, all the hate to Clint Hurdle that guy stunk.
