Chase Elliott got his win last night, which—as was noted in this space Wednesday—means we can’t rule out the possibility NASCAR is rigged. It’s equally possible it isn’t rigged: Elliott’s been fast lately, and had the best car on Sunday at the exact same track in what I’d guess were similar conditions. But, you know, could be rigged. The advantage if it is rigged is that we’ll get some exciting storylines as the season progresses.
