Challenges Ahead for the Ottawa Senators, as They Are Once Again Scheduled to Play Hockey

Today has all the makings of a disaster for the Ottawa Senators. For one thing, they’re playing a game of hockey. For another, their starting goalie (Matt Murray) is out and the backup (Marcus Högberg) hasn’t played well yet.

Whom:

Senators vs. Winnipeg Jets

Where:

Still in the big WP. (This is a callback to a bad joke I made on Thursday, in which I said that a vaguely defined “they” refer to Winnipeg as “the big WP.” This has been #JokeAccessibility with NIT Stu. Please like and subscribe.)

When:

2:00 PM American Central Standard Time

Television:

NHL Network. I don’t have NHL Network in my TV subscription, and I don’t think today’s the day to change that.

The Odds:

Sens at +190 to win. Sounds optimistic to me.

Senators News:

Beyond the Murray injury, not a lot. Doesn’t sound like he’ll be out that long? But that could be some trickeration. We know not.
