Burnley Leads Tottenham as the Iditarod Begins

It’s halftime, and Burnley is dominating Tottenham (or as we’ve been known to call those soft little city boys, Cottonham). They lead one-nil, and according to the tweet that comes up when I google the score, they’re on the attack. A great day for Britain’s Team. So far. Hopefully they don’t blow it.

Across an ocean and a continent, something else is going on that deserves our attention. The Iditarod begins today (or began—not sure what time it was supposed to kick off). It’s only a ceremonial start, with the teams mushing through Anchorage today and the real start up in Willow tomorrow. Still, it begins.

We, The Barking Crow, love the Iditarod. We know very little about it (though we know enough to be anti-PETA on it, as we are with most things, given we care about the well-being of canines). But we love it. We might not be your best bet for coverage, but we’ll check in here and there with updates, possibly included in our Burnley and NASCAR updates, as one would guess.

Today’s Iditarod update? Lots of snow. Lots of moose. Full steam ahead.
