Burnley Is Staying in the Premier League

They did it.

Burnley’s staying in the Premier League.

The Result:

Burnley 2, Fulham 0

How It Happened:

Burnley mounted a bit of a first half onslaught, eventually breaking through with a goal from Ashley Westwood that was followed with a separator from Chris Wood shortly before the halftime break. From there, the defensive effort was sound as the Clarets held on comfortably for the survival-clinching road win.

What It Means:

Burnley’s staying in the Premier League for another year. Fulham is not. Also, Burnley’s back up to 14th in the table, but Southampton could pass them by beating Crystal Palace today.

Other News:

Turf Moor’s finally going to be able to welcome a few fans back in the building, with 3,500 the number, I believe, for the home finale against Liverpool on the 19th. Sean Dyche said a number of things postgame about the offseason, investment from the ownership, etc., which would seem to at least indicate his staying on next year to be a possibility.

General Thoughts:

Is there a way to exfoliate the top and back and sides of your head? The non-face-and-neck parts? Do I need to stop wearing hats so much? Should I be washing my hair more thoroughly? I wash it once a day, but after I lather and rinse I only repeat if I’ve forgotten I already lathered and rinsed.

Burnley Thoughts:

The 2023 Europa League title hunt starts TODAY.
