Getting excited about the NIT yet?

Quick rundown of why the NIT’s the best, then we’ll get to this year’s specific excitement:
- More historic than that other tournament (Ever read a book?)
- More selective than that other tournament (32>68, teams really have to thread the needle)
- Takes automatic bids based on whole conference season of work, not just a few days (no last minute extra credit here, folks)
