Is something I said when I woke up and saw the Burnley score. And then said again when I realized how it had happened.
The Result:
Newcastle 2, Burnley 1
How It Happened:
Burnley took a one-goal lead early on a Matěj Vydra goal, but they gave it up fast in the second half. Real mess.
What It Means:
Burnley’s still probably safe from relegation, but they could be really safe by now. Two bad blown ones in two weeks. Bad vibes all around, especially with the rumors about Sean Dyche leaving this offseason.
Other News:
Nick Pope is evidently hurt. Something with his shoulder.
General Thoughts:
If you’re a renter and want more grass in your backyard, do you just take that on yourself?
Burnley Thoughts:
Disappointment, mainly. Does that count as a thought?
