Sonoma. Home of the Stompers. Also wine country, I think. The fact I know more about low-level independent league baseball in inland California than which regions grow grapes says a lot about me, and probably indicates why I like NASCAR more than F1. Although on the F1 side of things, they’re in Azerbaijan this weekend, and on Tax Day in 2019 I gave a Lyft ride to an Azerbaijani guy who was about to go home for two weeks (he was an accountant, and was celebrating the end of busy season) and it was one of my favorite Lyft rides ever. Really nice guy. Think the Cubs beat the Marlins that night. Wonder if he likes F1. He was cool.
Anyway, IndyCar’s off this weekend with a milk hangover, so just NASCAR and F1 on the docket. Here’s said docket:

Pretty fun Sunday, it seems. Azerbaijan, as was said, looks cool. Sonoma is confirmed to be cool. We’ll have the full previews up Sunday morning (probably—that’s pretty early so no guarantees on an F1 preview but if we don’t have one it’s basically “hmm I’m guessing we’re getting Lewis Hamilton vs. Max Verstappen again but I don’t know enough to say that without looking at the starting grid”).
