Ok, so I was looking for something funny about Andy Green, the Cubs’ manager today with David Ross out with Covid (he’s vaccinated, thankfully; hopefully it’s a quick and painless bout), and…Mark McGwire was a coach? I completely forgot that.
When Green was managing the Padres, McGwire was his bench coach at one point, and evidently before that he was the hitting coach for the Cardinals? I completely forgot this part of history. I hope everyone made a lot of andro jokes.
