I do not know if you are aware of this, but you did not score any runs yesterday. I know, right? Surprising. But you didn’t score any. You scored zero runs.
I understand that this is why you didn’t use Joe Kelly as a pitcher. You were playing it conventional, not using your best arms with the win unlikely. But two thoughts:
First of all, have you considered that Joe Kelly may be good enough to allow negative runs? Could be a loophole.
Second of all, speed on the bases, and a cosmically powerful if not physically powerful bat. Maybe try him out in the eight-hole.
Just some thoughts. We’ll revisit if need be.
