ACC Basketball on The CW (Jon and Kevin Edition)

It’s time for another round of ACC Basketball on The CW.

Unfortunately, none of the ACC Basketball these next three nights will be broadcast on The CW. By order of the Department of Education, ACC Basketball on The CW is only a weekend thing. Can’t have kids staying up too late, after all. But while you can take the ACC Basketball off The CW, you can’t take The CW out of ACC Basketball. Here’s every game this week, what drama to expect, and a score of just how ACC Basketball on The CW it really is:

Monday, 8:30 PM EST: NC State at Duke (ESPN)

“Devilish but drawn to be the good guy, Jon meets up with an old enemy to settle a score. The enemy? Not one you’d expect. Watch as Jon tries to get back at Old Kevin Down the Street for what he did to him last March.”

ACC Basketball on The CW Score: No, this a modern Big Monday game. This is a game you start watching before changing channels because Cooper Flagg isnt dunking enough.

Tuesday, 7:00 PM EST: Wake Forest at Louisville (ACC Network)

“The good times are rolling for Reyne, Chucky, and J’Vonne. But after their weekend away, will reality bite back? Tune in to see how they handle Big Efton, who arrives for a night that might get nasty.”

ACC Basketball on The CW Score: This could be on The CW, but Luke Hancock’s ACC Network takeover makes Louisville pretty synonymous with the ACC’s own channel these days. This is the real UNC indignity.

Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST: Georgia Tech at Notre Dame (ACC Network)

“The last time Tae and Braeden saw Damon’s family, Javian and Duncan made them hurt. Will Markus help them be ready this time? Make sure your popcorn’s in your lap this Tuesday. It’s quiet enough in Indiana to hear the shoes squeak across the floor.”

ACC Basketball on The CW Score: 100 out of 100. This is why The CW got sports.

Tuesday, 9:00 PM EST: North Carolina at Pitt (ESPN)

I’ll say this for Hubert Davis: I only disrespect him. I disrespect Jeff Capel *and* I don’t like him.

ACC Basketball on The CW Score: I could see it. A lot of UNC on The CW lately. Is that a sign??

Wednesday, 7:00 PM EST: Virginia at Miami (ESPNU)

“Abandoned by their fathers ahead of a blizzard, Isaac and Matthew travel to Florida for some good old-fashioned fun in the sun. Will the boys commiserate? Or will South Beach turn this into a scoring contest?”

ACC Basketball on The CW Score: Mmhmm. You know those Applebee’s where the bartenders clearly lost the remote to exactly one TV? But it’s kind of obscured in the corner so it doesn’t really matter? In the great Applebee’s in the sky, that TV is always tuned to this exact basketball game.

Wednesday, 7:00 PM EST: Virginia Tech at Florida State (ACC Network)

“Mike and Leonard have fallen on hard times, and with Leonard’s family turning on him, last week’s visit to California got grim. Can the old men band together for one last hurrah? Think Grumpy Old Men meets Bravo in this ACC Network classic.”

ACC Basketball on The CW Score: No, not really. ACC Network is where this game belongs.

Wednesday, 9:00 PM EST: Cal at SMU (ACC Network)

“Is Mark getting his feet under him, even with Andrej out sick? Can Andy make the good times last, or was last week’s nightmare a sign of things to come? Get to your television this Wednesday night for the game that realignment haters don’t want you to see.”

ACC Basketball on The CW Score: Yes. This is what you watch at your neighbor’s house who doesn’t have cable.

Wednesday, 11:00 PM EST: Syracuse at Stanford (ESPNU)

“Life’s easy by the Bay, where it’s a good time to be Kyle. But when Red comes to town looking to rebuild his ancestors’ farm, can Maxime give Kyle the courage to say no? Moving, intellectual, and provocative all at once, this made for ESPNU classic is sure to leave you thinking: What does it mean to be a man?”

ACC Basketball on The CW Score: I’m convinced ESPN and ESPN2 don’t actually have better programming on Wednesday night. This must have felt like such an ESPNU game that the programmers slotted it in here, then built the rest of the week around it.
