When we put ourselves, The Barking Crow, into the Tournament of the Best, we did so in an effort to give Tom Hanks an easy first round matchup, because we didn’t want to look silly for using human beings to anchor each region. It was a bit of a joke, and while we expected some votes, we did not expect our run through this tournament to last so long.
It’s not every week that your readers and followers tell you they love you more than Hanks, Great Movies (watched in theatre), and even The Stars. It’s not every week internet commenters breathlessly speculate on your upcoming competition. It’s not every week you get to square off with Crisp Fall Days, one of the great ones in the Tournament of the Best industry.
This week was not every week.
