A Milk Poem for Your Saturday

It’s been a long while since I’ve blogged about milk—
that tasty delight that’s quite finer than silk!
But though I’ve been slacking,
don’t fear—I’m not lacking
for dairy and things of that ilk.

No, while I’ve been busy, milk’s still in my gut,
like flies all over an elephant’s butt.
I’ve ice cream and cheeses
to cheer the spring breezes.
Please trust me: I’m not in a rut.

“Well, what about MilkTime?” so many lament,
“Will the podcast return? Will my heart be content?”
There’s no timetable ready,
but if growth can get steady,
it’s back! (First, we need to pay rent.)

So thank you to all for your loving concern.
Fear not! Milk and I are not yet in the urn.
No reason to shudder.
The proverbial udder
will soon (with more milk content) burn.
