Beautiful, isn’t it? At 7:00 PM this evening (local time), with the sunlight fading from the East Lansing sky, Nebraska and Michigan State will kick off for a football game a long way from hope.

Anyway, yeah, Nebraska at Michigan State’s our NIT Game of the Week. Both of these teams might be…ok, we’ll say it: decent. One has a disastrous loss under its belt already. One is staring directly into the teeth of massacres down the line. Each has hope, sure. But this is more the game you have to win to get to the games you have to win to have hope.
