The year was 2020, and amidst the novel coronavirus pandemic, one vote became a very, very big deal. We thought we’d settled it. But it’s back again.
Thankfully, we really like both these guys.
Yes, we’re back to Semi-Charmed Life vs. All The Small Things for our 90’s Bangers Bracket Championship. As the good bard says: “Same as it ever was.”
As has most often been the case with these brackets, there are three ways to vote:
- Instagram (voting is live in our stories)
- This Twitter thread
- This Google Form
The only rule is to not spam the votes. It does not appear that this will be a problem, based on voting so far, but we remain vigilant.
Championship voting is open until 9:15 AM EDT tomorrow, Saturday May 25th. We’ll announce the champion over the long weekend.

By magnitude, this is the closest vote Semi-Charmed Life has ever faced in a 90’s Bangers Bracket. A sign of weakness for the 2020 champ? An indication of voter fatigue? Is that one Third Eye Blind fan account on Twitter which retweeted the polls in 2020 no longer active? We’re about to find out.
