The Bangers Bracket is back, and we’ve returned to our roots. Today marks the first day of the first round of the second 90’s Bangers Bracket.
We’re voting today on the first two regions of this year’s 64-song bracket. If you need to refresh your memory on any songs, they’re all in this Spotify playlist. Voting will be open until 2:00 PM EDT tomorrow, Tuesday May 14th. Tomorrow, we’ll open up voting on the second half of the first round.
As has most often been the case with these brackets, there are three ways to vote:
- Instagram (voting is live in our stories)
- This Twitter thread
- This Google Form
The only rule is to not spam the votes. We admire enthusiasm, but if we find someone’s overloading the voting, we’ll wipe those votes out. Thankfully, this has only happened once before—the infamous “Mr. Darkside” incident in 2021.
Again, the schedule for the next few days:
- Now until 2 PM EDT Tuesday: First round voting, part one
- Tomorrow (Tuesday): First round voting, part two
- Thursday: First round results announced; second round voting
