What a first day of voting it was.
The 2000’s Bangers Bracket continues today with the second half of first round voting, but first, we need to address something. We’ve got a full post up about this, so read it if you’re interested, but we’re going to spell back out a rule we let go silent (because we trusted you all):

The Google Form is manipulatable. With bots, we suppose Twitter and Instagram are manipulatable as well. We’re aware of this, but it’s never obviously mattered, because our voters have voted with integrity and honor (that, or they’ve outsmarted us, but we prefer to believe the former).
Yesterday, it started to obviously matter. Someone, or someones, did some manipulating. We struck back, honoring the verifiable results, but we don’t like having to do it. So please:
