When Did ESPN Change Its Bracketology Graphics?

I was checking ESPN’s bracketology today, vaguely remembering my namesake talking previously about using a model of some sort to help assess team quality in the offseason (and wanting something objective to look at), and when did they change the graphics? Was I just not checking bracketology on ESPN this season or is this brand new? Would like an explanation, because my eyes are having a hard time adjusting after a lifetime of that old, old-school-ESPN-looking format they used in past years. If you know, please let me know. This has me rattled (and on the day of an Albert Pujols DFA, no less, as though nothing from middle school is sacred). I don’t even remember who one of the 1-seeds was, and that was what I was there to look at.

The Barking Crow's resident numbers man. Was asked to do NIT Bracketology in 2018 and never looked back. Fields inquiries on Twitter: @joestunardi.
